Bonita
Named after USS Bonita Submarine, this bait is designed to closely resemble a small minnow. The soft plastic provides the most life-like movement possible without the need for live bait.
One of our top-selling panfish plastics, the Bonita minnow can be used on the open water or ice for targeting sunfish, crappie, and perch as well as the occasional walleye and bass. Work this bait slowly back to the boat along the bottom or throw it into beds to target hungry bass. On the ice, vertical jigging it is the ticket for just about anything.

Weather its casting a small jig and minnow or a smaller hair jig this rod is the perfect rod for the task. This is my go-to rod all spring. I pair it with a size 2000 spinning reel and 6-pound mono or braid and a short fluorocarbon leader. The sensitivity of this combo and its ultra lightweight makes it very easy to fish with all day.
